is an experience, music, art,
laughter, ideas, innovations, solutions, a concert, a
conversation, chance to mingle with thinkers and doers,
artistic expression, social spaces for exchanging ideas.
Thought provoking and
spiritually uplifting
TEDxHomer is
a not-for-profit event organized by unpaid volunteers.
All ticket and sponsorship assistance goes directly to
paying for expenses such as venue, catering, advertising,
and other materials and costs that support the event. Simply
put, we can't produce a TEDHomer event without the help of
our supporters & sponsors.

What is
TEDxIn the
spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a
program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized
events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
Our event is called TEDx Homer, where
x = independently
organized TED event. At our TEDx Homer event, TEDTalks video and
live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection
in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for
the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are
self-organized.
